Winter weather reminder

Students, faculty, and staff:

The University of the Fraser Valley Safety & Security team would like to remind our community that unless an extreme environmental condition forces closures, all campuses will remain open during the winter season.  Winter conditions can change quickly and may require extra caution by students, faculty, and staff travelling to and around campus.In rare instances where in-person classes are cancelled or campus closures are needed, we will announce the decision by 6 a.m. on the day of the event or soon thereafter.

There are several ways for you to be aware of cancelled classes, campus closures, or important announcements:
•      Main telephone line 1-888-504-7441
•      Social media, including UFV Twitter (@goufv) and Facebook
•      Local radio and television stations are advised of in-person class cancellations and campus closures, however updates through these sources are outside of the university’s control
