Welcome to Jacqui Noftall, Director of Organizational Development

HR is delighted to announce that UFV has hired its first ever Director of Organizational Development.

Jacqui brings over 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational development, working across both private and public sectors —including roles at the University of British Columbia, Vancity Savings Credit Union, and most recently as the Associate Director of Talent Management at Okanagan College.  She has helped these organizations create engaging and inclusive workplaces through leadership development, employee recognition, onboarding, team development, learning strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.

She has also led by example, conscientiously developing her own skills and abilities with a Master of Arts in Leadership, accreditation in PROSCI Change Management, Insights Discovery, Gallup StrengthsFinder, and The Working Mind by the Canadian Mental Health Association.

I am passionate about creating workplaces where people feel connected, valued, and empowered to grow. I believe that when organizations invest in purposeful leadership, inclusive culture, and meaningful development, they unlock the full potential of their people. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and writing fiction, and hiking and exploring our beautiful country.

When she begins in mid-September, Jacqui will be leading efforts to consult, vision, design and implement an organizational development strategy for the University. We know that much has already been done in these areas; we will look to Jacqui to evaluate those programs and develop them in a coordinated institutional approach.

Please join me in welcoming her to UFV, and joining with her on this important work.
