In the final two weeks of classes, students enrolled in KIN 360 presented their Community Mental Wellness lessons in small groups, demonstrating creativity, collaboration, and thoughtful engagement with curriculum-based learning. The lessons were developed using the Physical and Health Education (PHE) BC Curriculum, ensuring alignment with provincial educational standards.
Each group presented their lesson in an engaging and interactive way, incorporating activities and discussions designed to promote mental wellness within community settings. The presentations highlighted students’ ability to translate theory into practice while addressing important topics related to mental health and well-being.
The variety of approaches reflected the students’ creativity and commitment to inclusive, meaningful learning experiences. With permission, photos from the presentations were captured to showcase the energy and innovation behind the lessons.
These presentations marked a strong conclusion to the course and emphasized the importance of community-based, curriculum-informed approaches to mental wellness education.
