Project Office Construction Bulletin
WHO: Clark Builders Construction, Tyler Gagan, Project Manager
WHEN: Starting April 5, 2024, to June 15, 2024 (Subject to Change)
WHERE: Parking Lot 10, Infront of Building E, Athletics
WHAT: Upcoming modifications to the fencing layout by building E. To accommodate ongoing construction the following modifications to the fencing perimeter will be required.
Phase 1 – Starts April 5th, 2024
- This phase will allow the construction team to install the underground infrastructure for EV charging stations.
- Relocation of the fence will remove a dozen stalls from circulation.
- Accessibility stalls will be relocated to the south side of Building E closer to the access ramp and to SUS]
Phase 2 – Starting May 15, 2024
- This phase will allow for the student housing team to relocate the fire hydrant which is a requirement from the fire department for the project.
- The fence perimeter will extend to include the area in the blue square above. A temporary detour route will be required as the pathway will be closed to pedestrians.
- The detour route from parking lot 10 towards the green would include:
- Path towards the Student Union Building, between building E and SUS.
- Access through building E to the north-east entrance/exit
- The detour route from parking lot 10 towards the green would include:
- The fence perimeter will extend to include the area in the blue square above. A temporary detour route will be required as the pathway will be closed to pedestrians.
Phase 3 – June 15, 2024 – Final Fencing
- Parking stalls not required to be blocked will become available again.
- Pathway leading from lot 10 towards the green will be reopened
- Accessible route to the front entry of building E and path to the green will remain and restored at the end of the project.
