This is an update to the message sent out on Sunday, April 6<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n

Many of you are aware of an online threat that was made against our Abbotsford campus, along with several surrounding school districts on Sunday, April 6 that is currently being reported in the media and widely circulated on various social media channels.\u00a0 We take any threat with seriousness and immediately involved the Abbotsford Police Department (APD).<\/p>\n

APD has found\u00a0no evidence<\/u><\/a>\u00a0to suggest the threat is credible. Based on their review, we are confident that there is\u00a0no known risk to our campuses.<\/u><\/p>\n

The safety of our students, faculty and staff remains our top priority. We understand that such threats can be unsettling for some individuals. Employees may reach out to\u00a0your direct supervisor and\/or\u00a0the\u00a0Employee and Family Assistance Program<\/a>\u00a0and students to\u00a0Personal Counselling<\/a>\u00a0for support.<\/p>\n
