UFV will observe Monday, September 19 as a national holiday in recognition of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. This follows the Prime Minister\u2019s declaration of a one-time National Day of Mourning and national holiday.<\/p>\n
All classes, both online and in-person, are cancelled for the day and all UFV services will be closed.<\/p>\n
Faculty and instructors may provide alternative methods to make up course content missed on this day (e.g., posting course material online, making up course material in future classes, etc.), but students are not expected to participate in course work on September 19. This includes assignments and exams scheduled for September 19.<\/p>\n
