Dec 18 &#8211; Exams proceeding as scheduled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Final exams are proceeding as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/arfiles\/includes\/202109-exam-schedule.htm\">scheduled<\/a>. UFV is monitoring the weather and campuses will be open as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/operations\/campus-hours\/\">scheduled<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Environment Canada has issued\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/weather.gc.ca\/warnings\/report_e.html?bc40\">special weather statements<\/a> for the Fraser Valley that predict a transition from snow to rain for most areas this morning &#8211; some eastern areas of the Valley may see a transition to freezing rain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please leave extra time for your commute to UFV if you have an in-person exam today and commute with extra care. Exercise judgement when making the decision to travel to UFV.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If, after careful consideration, you make the decision that travelling to UFV cannot be done safely, contact your professor for their feedback through the channels of communication your class uses (email, blackboard etc.) before the exam.<\/p>\n<p>Crews are clearing parking lots, walkways, and entrances.<\/p>\n<p>Libraries at both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses have hours posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/library.ufv.ca\/about-the-library\/library-hours\/\">this schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An update will be provided at 5pm Sunday, Dec. 18 at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/\">UFV.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Final exams are proceeding as scheduled.
