UFV encourages employees to access resources through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/hr\/compensation-benefits\/employee-family-assistance\/\">UFV Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)<\/a>. Reliable, accurate COVID-19 health information is available through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bccdc.ca\/health-info\/diseases-conditions\/covid-19\">BC CDC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/public-health\/services\/diseases\/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection\/prevention-risks.html#self\">Health Canada.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Distancing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please remember to remind students and colleagues of the need to keep two meters of distance between one another and to continue observing all physical distancing measures. It\u2019s imperative UFV participates in helping slow the spread of COVID-19. Health Canada has a descriptive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/content\/dam\/phac-aspc\/documents\/services\/publications\/diseases-conditions\/coronavirus\/social-distancing\/64-05-19-2611-Coronavirus-Factsheet-Physical-Distancing-EN-06.pdf\">infographic<\/a> on this topic to use, print, or share.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ZoomBombing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reliance on online group collaborative chat tools like Zoom and Blue Jeans has led to an invasive practice called ZoomBombing. More details and how to prevent it <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/announce\/2020\/04\/02\/zoom-bombing-and-how-to-thwart-it\/\">here. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remote teaching workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Teaching and Learning is preparing a series of workshops to assist faculty teaching remotely for the spring and summer semesters. Sessions begin Tuesday, April 7. Further information is available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/events.ufv.ca\/tlc\/events\/microcourse-online-teaching-fundamentals-1-blackboard-essentials\/http:\/events.ufv.ca\/tlc\/events\/microcourse-online-teaching-fundamentals-1-blackboard-essentials\/\">Teaching and Learning site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remote work and Record and Information Management <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Working remotely means continuing to uphold the University\u2019s obligation under BC\u2019s Freedom and Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
