Thank you for your continued patience as UFV adapts to the COVID-19 situation. UFV is working with provincial ministries and others to ensure we align with the direction set by the Provincial Health Officer. UFV\u2019s goal is to take measures to keep you and our UFV community healthy while providing education through adapting and flexible methods. Our learning activities and campus operations will continue to change as we and others navigate this situation.<\/p>\n

A reminder: UFV and the Fraser Health Authority<\/a> encourage you to check factual health sources for\u00a0information relating to COVID-19 symptoms,\u00a0self-isolation<\/a>, and testing. BC\u00a0has a dedicated\u00a0COVID-19\u00a0line\u00a0at 1-888-COVID19 or text 1-888-268-4319, or\u00a0604-630-0300. Health Canada<\/a>\u00a0has resources on prevention and risk, symptoms, and what to do if you are diagnosed with COVID-19.<\/p>\n

When the time comes, exams will not occur face-to-face, and your Faculty member will inform you of the format.<\/p>\n

Libraries<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Abbotsford and Chilliwack libraries will be closed to ensure social distancing. Library staff are ready to assist you online, and our digital collections are always available.\u00a0 Please check the Library\u2019s blog<\/a> for more information. Computer lab G is open within the library.<\/p>\n

Trades<\/strong><\/p>\n

Learning for Trades programs will start up again on Monday in a remote learning format only. Due to the nature of learning a trade and the differing complexities of integrating practical and theory, students should connect with instructors to be advised of the plan for your trade. Welding is the only exception to recommencing Monday.\u00a0 Welding will be paused until we can resume face-to-face learning.\u00a0 Please contact your instructor to find out the details.\u00a0 If you do not know how to contact you instructor, please call 604 847 5448.<\/p>\n

SUS Shuttle suspended:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Student Union Society Shuttle Bus will suspend operations after at completion their scheduled runs <\/a>on Friday March 20.<\/p>\n

UFV remains committed to supporting students through phone, virtual, and online services.
