What a great way to end our year in Human Resources! For our final department meeting of the year, we were fortunate enough experience an amazing St\u00f3:l\u014d place name tour on the Harrison Lake\/River while riding in comfortable river boats, breathing in the fresh air and taking in the majestic mountain views. Sonny McHalsie, Cultural Advisor\/Historian of the St\u00f3:l\u014d Research and Resource Management Centre was our guide for the day and taught us so much about the traditions, history, culture, language and stories of the Sto:lo people.<\/p>\n
