And so simple to make a batch to freeze for the whole week.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Below is my favorite mid-morning snack during remote work. It is a great way to sneak i<em><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1266 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/ufv-at-work\/files\/2021\/03\/G.-Hamilton-smootie-recipe-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"398\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/ufv-at-work\/files\/2021\/03\/G.-Hamilton-smootie-recipe-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/ufv-at-work\/files\/2021\/03\/G.-Hamilton-smootie-recipe-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/ufv-at-work\/files\/2021\/03\/G.-Hamilton-smootie-recipe-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/ufv-at-work\/files\/2021\/03\/G.-Hamilton-smootie-recipe.jpg 1512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/strong><\/em>n some greens.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 container of prewashed baby spinach<\/li>\n<li>1 cup frozen blueberries<\/li>\n<li>1 cup frozen pitted cherries<\/li>\n<li>3 bananas, peeled and diced<\/li>\n<li>6 tablespoons of peanut butter<\/li>\n<li>Almond milk<\/li>\n<li>Ice cubes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Divide spinach, blueberries, cherries, bananas and peanut butter evenly into six 500ML glass mason jars.<\/li>\n<li>Freeze until ready to use.<\/li>\n<li>When ready to blend, add the contents of one mason jar to the blender with 1 cup almond milk and 4 ice cubes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tip: The riper the banana, the more banana-flavor and sweeter the smoothie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you Gena for sending us this really simple and delicious-sounding smoothie that would be a great pick-me-up in the middle of the day when you just need a little boost of energy!
