Course (Re)Design Institute\u00a0 – May 16-27, 2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Are you a UFV faculty member designing a new course? Or are you redesigning a course for its six-year review? Then this professional development opportunity is designed for you. The Teaching and Learning Centre is offering a 2-week Course (Re)Design Institute<\/strong> from May 16 to May 27, 2022 that will provide you with the tools to engage effectively in the course design (or redesign) process.<\/p>\n

You will learn concrete curriculum development principles to think critically about your course outcomes, assessment, content, and activities. By the end of the institute, participants will develop a robust course framework that will allow you to take your ideas and move them into the classroom. This Institute will be offered in a hybrid format combining three in-person sessions and one synchronous Zoom session, with asynchronous learning through Blackboard Learn. This is a hands-on program where participants will complete activities designed to develop course curriculum in an intensive and organized way resulting in UFV\u2019s course development documentation and\/or a new course syllabus.<\/p>\n

This Institute will be led by TLC\u2019s Teaching and Learning Specialists and Educational Developer who will provide ongoing support throughout the 2-week program.<\/p>\n
