Christmas Share Warehouse Worker
\n<\/strong> 24 hours per week November 2, 2026 to January 8, 2027

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nReporting to the Christmas Sharing Coordinator, the Christmas Share Warehouse Worker is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory and donation tracking, volunteer support, hamper quality, and warehouse coordination for distribution day.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/em>
\nEducation, Training and Experience:
\n\u2022 Completion of Grade 12.
\n\u2022 Three (3) months related experience.
\n\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
\n\u2022 Experience with inventory control, warehouse organization, or donation processing. Experience working with the public.<\/p>\n

Job Skills and Abilities:
\n\u2022 Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
\n\u2022 Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
\n\u2022 Ability to organize work and carry out duties of the position with independence.
\n\u2022 Ability to work with diverse populations.
\n\u2022 Ability to lift 40 pounds<\/p>\n

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
\n1. Lead day-to-day warehouse setup, organization, workflow, and shutdown.
\n2. Manage inventory, identify shortages, and coordinate packing priorities with the Christmas Sharing Coordinator.
\n3. Track donations, including donor information, description, estimated value, and movement of goods, using established records and spreadsheets.
\n4. Oversee sorting, Angel Tree processing, wish-list fulfillment, packing, labelling, and staging of hampers.
\n5. Review hampers for quality, appropriateness, completeness, and alignment with child-specific wish lists.
\n6. Coordinate regular donation pickups and deliveries, including assigning volunteers and assisting when required.
\n7. Maintain confidential and accurate records relating to inventory, and donations.
\n8. In collaboration with the Christmas Share Coordinator, coordinate warehouse operations on distribution day, including hamper staging, retrieval processes, stocking-stuffer supplies, pickup slips, and resolution of missing or incorrect hampers.
\n9. Complete post-season inventory, warehouse shutdown, storage organization, and final donation records.
\n10. Perform other related duties as required.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Wage rate as per BCGEU Collective Agreement, Retail Worker – Grid 5 – $24.34 (Under Review)
\n\u2022 This position requires Union membership.
\n\u2022 This position is open to all persons.
\n\u2022 This position requires successful completion of a criminal record check.
\n\u2022 This position reports to the Christmas Sharing Coordinator.
\n\u2022 This position is under the Community Relations department.<\/p>\n
