\nIn this role, you will provide independent biopsychosocial assessments for young people involved in the justice system. You will work with multidisciplinary clinicians providing specialized counselling and therapy, assist in supervising practicum students, and collaborate on research projects. Your work will play a crucial role in shaping effective assessment and treatment services, ultimately supporting the mental health and rehabilitation of young people in the justice system.

\n\u2022 Masters in Counselling, Social Work, Educational Counselling, Clinical Counselling, Clinical Psychology or Child and Youth Care or comparable graduate degree at the master\u2019s level in a similar subject may be considered.
\n\u2022 Minimum of one (1) year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services.
\n\u2022 Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver\u2019s license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province).<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Two (2) years or more relevant clinical experience working within an adolescent mental health environment and providing a wide range of outpatient-oriented assessment and treatment services.
\n\u2022 Recent experience working in a forensic setting or with a forensic population.
\n\u2022 Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health unit.
\n\u2022 Applicants who self-identify as First Nations, M\u00e9tis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.<\/p>\n
