Samantha is celebrating the completion of her second credential at UFV, having previously earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree
\nShe is a Registered Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in the social services field who remains committed to learning and growing
\nprofessionally and personally<\/p>\n

In her professional life Samantha has worked with clients through challenges such as mental health, addiction, family systems, grief, trauma, and major
\nlife transitions She doesn\u2019t claim to have all the answers, but rather walks alongside her clients, honouring their stories and supporting their
\njourneys.<\/p>\n

Samantha is M\u00e9tis Cree, born and raised in Langley Her roots and family background deeply shape the way she approaches her work She holds a
\nblack belt in martial arts and says that the grueling and empowering process of earning it taught her strength, persistence, and balance \u2014 values that
\ncontinue to guide her in life and in her professional practice She enjoys riding her motorcycle, travelling, and spending time with her husband,
\nchildren, and dogs.<\/p>\n

Her professors say that she is grounded, thoughtful, and humble, and that she uses humour and inspiration to connect with others in an inclusive manner.<\/p>\n
