This position serves Surrey, White Rock, Delta and Langley. Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to one (1) day at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

Integrated Practice Clinician
$85,563.25 – $97,633.20 annually which includes a 4 Grid Temporary Market Adjustment

The South Fraser CYMH Integrated Practice Team supports children and youth in non-parental care by collaborating closely with their care teams to improve mental health outcomes. This established team of five clinicians, a team leader, and an administrative assistant utilizes cutting-edge research in trauma, neurodevelopment and attachment to provide targeted interventions. Team members also engage with MCFD, Indigenous Children and Family Service Agencies, Indigenous Elders and other community partners, offering education to build community capacity and enhance support for children and youth.

As an Integrated Practice Technician, you play a vital role in improving the mental health and well-being of children and youth in non-parental care, impacting all areas of their lives, including behavior, emotions, relationships, education and health. By enhancing the community’s capacity to support these individuals, you help create a more inclusive and understanding environment for those affected by complex developmental trauma.

Qualifications for this role include:
• Masters in counselling, social work, educational counselling, clinical counselling, clinical psychology or child and youth care or comparable graduate degree at the master’s level in a similar subject may be considered.
• Minimum of one (1) year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services.
• Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver’s license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province).
• Successful completion of security screening requirements of the BC Public Service, which may include a criminal records check, and/or Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA) check, and/or enhanced security screening checks as required by the ministry.
