Four-month full-time term positions – Various locations, BC

Raising the Canoe, FNHA’s First Nations Student Program, provides First Nations students exposure to health care while supporting their personal and professional growth.
We aim to match a student’s education, skills career interests, and goals with available opportunities.

• Student orientation incorporating cultural experiences with an Elder/Knowledge Keeper
• Professional development sessions

• One-to-one support with a First Nations Career Partner
• End of term cultural ceremony

Salary Range:
Up to Bachelors: $19.38 – $23.12 – $25.44 / hour
Masters: $22.44 – $26.27 – $28.90 / hour

The Salary Range is the minimum and maximum hourly salary. Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. The top 10% of the pay range is for incumbents who are industry experts in the job with exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

Eligibility
• First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
• Reside in British Columbia during the program.
• Recent high-school graduate within one-year or currently enrolled in a post-secondary institute or training program.
• Open to co-op or practicum students.
