Appointment of Elizabeth (Beth) Watters as Assistant Professor

The School of Social Work and Human Services is pleased to announce that Elizabeth (Beth) Watters has accepted an appointment as Assistant Professor (tenure-track) with the School.

Beth taught previously with the School as a Limited Term Instructor during the 2021-22 academic year, when she was an active member of the Human Services committee.

 Beth’s professional and community service experiences reflect her research and scholarly areas of interest in health equity, precarious employment of racialized, immigrant women, social exclusion, migration, labour issues, and the intersectionality of feminism.

 Please join us in welcoming Beth back to the School of Social Work and Human Services. Professor Watters’ appointment commences on August 1, 2023.
