The Centre for Child Development is seeking two collaborative, client-focused, and innovative Early Years Navigators for our new early years program. Navigators will be responsible for providing family navigation, within a family-centered care model. Working with vulnerable families with children ages birth through 6, the navigators identify and assists children/families to access appropriate resources; participates in planning, coordinating and evaluating program activities; provides individualized coaching and support to children and families to promote psychosocial/emotional health and independence; and conducts follow-up services and liaises with the community agencies to meet the needs of the clients/families served.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and five years recent pediatric experience specifically for children 0 – 6 years and their families. The successful individual will bring a strong professional presence and flexible approach to the role along with a desire to develop collaborative relationships within the community. The Centre offers a generous benefits package in addition to a current salary range of $30.75-$38.33/hour.
