Duties & Responsibilities:
The primary function of this position is to provide stability to an individual in transition, through meaningful and personalized support.
The successful applicant will become a member of a growing Crisis Response Service to individuals with complex care needs. Please note that this position is open to female applicants only!

Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants must have training and experience in working with persons with complex physical and mental health needs. Applicants must have demonstrated skills in the area of behavioral support and crisis management.
Background in Mental Health is an asset; an understanding of Dual Diagnosis is essential. Applicants must be physically able to meet the demands of the job. A positive and pleasant work attitude, effective communication skills and the ability to work as a team to provide consistent supports in needed.
Use of own personal vehicle is required with vehicle insurance with 3 million liability and Business Insurance. Must possess a valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License, CPR and First Aid. Certification and be able to meet all other CSCL employment criteria (e.g. Criminal Police
Record Search, Medical Certificate, etc.).

Shifts/Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 3pm-11pm (24 hours per week).
However, the Employer may make schedule changes per the Collective Agreement. Shifts may
vary to meet the requirements of the service; schedule flexibility is required. There may be
opportunity for more hours up to 40 per week.

Compensation:
As per Community Social Services Collective Agreement.
Benefits include Extended Health and Dental, as well as participation in the Municipal Pension
Plan, when eligible.
This position requires Union membership (BCGEU).
