Have you ever dreamed of living in a lush and vibrant countryside, filled with châteaux and orchards? The smells of fresh, moist air, delicious baked goods and the tastes of wine and cheeses. All of these wonderful things, coupled together with a peaceful and leisurely lifestyle. Sounds good doesn’t it?
If you have been dreaming of this, then spending a semester abroad in France is for you! Consider studying at one of UFV’s partner universities, the École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers (ESSCA), in the city of Angers, in western France. ESSCA is one of the top 20 business schools in France, and their mission is to fully equip students and managers for a successful and sustainable career, while taking into account the human and social dimensions of a globalized world.
Exchange students have a wide variety of courses to choose from at ESSCA, ranging from Marketing Strategy, European Economics, History, Intercultural dynamics and languages. The city of Angers is actually an excellent place to learn French, as the Loire Valley is referred to as The Cradle of the French Language. At ESSCA, staff are available to help with all kinds of issues or concerns that may arise, and student associations organize activities specifically for the international students throughout the semester to help them integrate with the local students, and to get to know the city and the local environment.
ESSCA also has campuses in Paris, Budapest (Hungary), and Shanghai (China).
