Thank you to the student and employee volunteers \u2013 we were few, but mighty!<\/p>\n<h3>Sustainable Transportation Project Survey<\/h3>\n<p>SustainableUFV is working to gather data about how and why people travel to\/from\/between campuses the way they do \u2013 and what it would take to get you to take more sustainable modes of transport (EVs, busses, carpooling, walking, biking, etc.).<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/machforms\/view.php?id=508519\">\u00a0Click here for the survey<\/a>. And now, we\u2019re stuck not being able to use a resource we\u2019ve been utterly dependent on. Fortis BC continues to force the (significant) reduction of natural gas used at UFV until further notice. Wear layers, enjoy warm beverages, think of Hawaii (often!), and we\u2019ll ride this out together.<\/p>\n<p>The facilities department has been trying to manage building temperatures as best as possible during this massive disruption, warming the buildings briefly in the morning, then turning down the temps as people fill up offices and classrooms \u2013 which helps maintain comfortable temps and adhere to our restrictions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong> \u2013 There are 2 new water fill stations on ABB B1 and B3. Free with a re-useable bottle vs. $2.50 for a single-use plastic.
