Each year, the Research, Engagement, and Graduate Studies office hosts the celebration dinner to honour excellence in research done by undergraduate students at UFV and to acknowledge their faculty research supervisors.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Faculty of Science was pleased to honour the following students who received a NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award worth $4,500.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/scholarship-positions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/NSERC-USRA1.jpg\" width=\"173\" height=\"159\" \/><strong>Veronica Kobes, Biology; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Lucy Lee<\/li>\n<li><strong>Taylor Boyd, Biology; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Lucy Lee<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zachary Sentell, Chemistry; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Noham Weinberg<\/li>\n<li><strong>Darryl Wilson, Chemistry; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Noham Weinberg<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tam Le, Chemistry; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Linus Chiang<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travis Gingerich, Geography; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Olav Lian<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nicole Schurink, Physics; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Lin Long<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yeeun Shin, Physics; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Lin Long<\/li>\n<li><strong>Japteshwar Gill, Physics; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Lin Long<\/li>\n<li><strong>Steven Esau, Physics; <\/strong>Faculty Researcher: Derek Harnett<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These national awards are meant to stimulate interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering.
