Participants will also learn more about local tech companies, start-ups, and the business side of the industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>DATE<\/strong>: November 18, 2017<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>TIME<\/strong>: 1:00 &#8211; 6:00 PM<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>WHERE<\/strong>: TBA &#8211; visit their website <a href=\"https:\/\/chilliwack.tech\/Next\">Chilliwack.Tech\/Next <\/a>for updates<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>REGISTRATION<\/strong>: $10 includes snacks and drinks!<\/p>\n<p>Hands-on learning will take shape with three 50-minute sessions in the high growth hi-tech fields of cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things. The final hour will be an explosive learning experience with eight lightning talks from industry leaders in the Fraser Valley. Topics will include software platforms, fuel cells, gaming, bootstrapping a start up, sale\/exit from a company, lessons learned from entrepreneurs, and a briefing on the 2018 Start-up Hackathon.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the event participants will have a chance to network with each other and all nine presenters.
