\"dh1\"<\/a>The Faculty of Science and Research, Engagement and Graduate Studies hosted a reception on September 27, 2016 for Dr. Derek Harnett. A group of his colleagues and friends had the pleasure of congratulating him on his recent Research Excellence Award. He was previously recognized at convocation in June but was unable to attend as he was completing his sabbatical.<\/p>\n

Adrienne Chan, Associate Vice President of Research, Engagement, and Graduate Studies welcomed everyone and presented Derek with his award, however not before hearing some nice words from John Pankratz from the UFV Board of Governors; Eric Davis, UFV Provost and Vice President, and Lucy Lee, Dean of Science.<\/p>\n

Derek Harnett’s dedication is life changing. He has completely blown away my expectations of a university professor.<\/p>\n
