Science Outreach – Winter 2014<\/h3>\n

For science students and students interested in teaching.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Faculty of Science is running science outreach programs in two locations this winter semester.<\/p>\n

Super Science Club is an after-school program for elementary students that UFV offers in collaboration with Science World.\u00a0 The goal of this program is to inspire at-risk children to be inquisitive about the world around them, and to develop a long-term interest in science and technology.\u00a0 Science World provides paid training and you will be using their curriculum.<\/p>\n

Super Science Club will be running at Bernard Elementary School in Chilliwack on Friday afternoons and at Deroche Elementary School in Mission (Deroche) on Wednesday afternoons. \u00a0\u00a0See the schedule below.<\/p>\n

We are looking for students with a passion for science and who love working with kids.<\/p>\n

The pay for all positions is $10.25 per hour.<\/p>\n
