A huge thank you to the Super Science Club team on another successful year of fun-filled science activities for elementary school students!<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0419\"<\/a>Super Science Club<\/a> is an after-school program employing UFV science students to deliver fun and intellectually stimulating science activities to elementary students in the Fraser Valley.\u00a0 This year, Megan Krabbendam, Sandeep Gill, Rebecca Robertson and Ali Renwick took the program to two schools in the Valley.\u00a0 Megan and Sandeep worked at Rick Hansen Secondary in Abbotsford with Grade 5 students from Rick Hansen\u2019s feeder schools.\u00a0 Rebecca and Ali worked at Vedder Elementary in Chilliwack with 30 elementary children and their families.\"IMG_0573\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Super Science Club<\/a> is a partnership with Science World<\/a> and the UFV students receive training from Science World in Vancouver.\u00a0 Some of this years science topics included Earthquakes, Floaters and Sinkers, Eggstraordinary Eggsperiments, Mirrors, Goo and more.<\/p>\n
