Math Mania is presented by the UFV Mathematics & Statistics Department<\/a> in conjunction with the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences.<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s been another outstanding Math Mania year! Our last event was held at the Chilliwack Central Elementary School on May 25th.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Judy Larsen, Theresa Mulder, Karin Loots and their outstanding team of volunteers that have made this program such a huge success! They have already begun organizing events for the 2016\/2017 year so stay tuned!<\/p>\n

Math Mania is an evening of mathematical demonstrations, puzzles\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and hands-on activities for elementary or middle school children. It\u2019s been designed by members of the <\/em>\"photoUniversity of the Fraser Valley\u2019s Department of Mathematics & Statistics to show children \u2013 and their parents \u2013 how much fun you can have playing with mathematical concepts.<\/em><\/p>\n
