The clinic will be ON CAMPUS (that’s right no extra driving!) from 10:00am-5:00pm on September 17th. It will be located in the NEW SUB BUILDING in the GRAND HALL. It is not exclusive to UFV students, faculty and staff. You can help your friends book appointments and donate as a group!<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?<\/span><\/strong>
\nAppointments are available now!
\nTo book an appointment you can call 1-888-2-DONATE or you can book online:<\/p>\n

1. Go to www.blood.ca<\/a>
\n2. On the right side of the screen under “Find a Clinic to Book an Appointment” Enter “Abbotsford” and set an appropriate date-range.
\n3. Click “Find Clinics”
\n4. Select the UFV Location Clinic
\n5. Select the date and time of your appointment.
\n6. Sign in or Register to book your appointment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

DO I HAVE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?<\/span><\/strong>
\nWe HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment, as we cannot guarantee that walk-in appointments will be available.
\nWhen booking an appointment, allow for about 2 hours for the donation process. If there is a particular time that works best for you, book your appointment ASAP before someone else takes that time slot.<\/p>\n

WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS?<\/span><\/strong>
\nYou must be at least 17 years of age
\nYou cannot have donated blood in the last 56 days
\nYou should be in general good health
\nYou must wait 6 months to donate after getting a tattoo or piercing
\nYou must have fully recovered from a flu or cold before donating
\nYou must wait 24 hours to donate after a dental cleaning or filling
\nYou must wait 72 hours to donate after tooth extraction, a root canal or dental surgery
