We also encourage you to share this opportunity with senior students who may be interested in participating as judges. You do not need a science background as we can pair you with a science judge.<\/p>\n<p>There will be two judging sessions, and you are welcome to participate in one or both, depending on your availability:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Judging for Divisional Awards \u2013 11:30 am-2 pm (Grades 7-12)<br \/>\nThis is the more formal of the judging session. The gold winner(s) will represent the Fraser Valley alongside Team BC at the Canada Wide Science Fair.<\/li>\n<li>Judging for Special Awards \u2013 2:30-5:30 pm (All Grades K-12)<br \/>\nThis session recognizes outstanding student projects across all grade levels, with more than $10,000 in prizes awarded each year!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sign up using our Eventbrite page:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.ca\/e\/2026-fraser-valley-regional-science-fair-judge-registration-tickets-1975338380270?aff=oddtdtcreator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Judges Registration<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll also be asked to select your area of expertise or interest from the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agriculture, Fisheries and Food<\/li>\n<li>Curiosity and Ingenuity<\/li>\n<li>Digital Technology<\/li>\n<li>Disease and Illness<\/li>\n<li>Energy<\/li>\n<li>Environment and Climate Change<\/li>\n<li>Health and Wellness<\/li>\n<li>Natural Resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants consistently say that the highlight of their science fair experience is engaging with knowledgeable scientists who respect and appreciate their work.
