Thank you to the\u00a0Canadian Mathematical Society<\/strong><\/a> for continuing to support our Science Rocks! Program with camps in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.<\/p>\n

This year they have generously donated $2,500 that helps us continue to create a fun environment for our campers to learn and explore math and science in a fun way.<\/p>\n

UFV has been offering these science based camps for 16 years in the Fraser Valley. We have six, 1-week camps being held at both of our Abbotsford and Chilliwack Campuses. Our Science Rocks! Team Leads Semir Hasic <\/strong>and Cole Zaniol, <\/strong>and their team have a great program lined up for this summer! This is a great opportunity to send your kids to university for a week and work in a real science lab and experiment with fun activities that explore the sciences. This year’s camps covers fossils, flora, fauna, fire, flood, frost, fractals, figures and inFinity. Registration includes a camp t-shirt, lunch every day and a full week of fun!<\/p>\n
