Although it wasn&#8217;t the typical Social we are used to, we managed to make it special nonetheless.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">We would like to announce the winners of our final draw of the week &#8230; drum roll please &#8230;<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5WHwelBcVS8\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/5WHwelBcVS8<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10088 size-full alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ufv.ca\/science\/files\/2020\/09\/and-the-winners-are-1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"213\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Kylie Herman<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Thom White<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Congratulations to all of our Science Social winners! They each won a $100 gift card to the UFV Bookstore and to all of you who played along will receive some Faculty of Science swag in the mail very soon (it will be mailed to the address UFV has on file for you).<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to the Science Dean&#8217;s Office for organizing this event and the following departments who donated towards the prizes for the week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/biology\/\">Biology<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/chemistry\/\">Chemistry<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/math\">Mathematics &amp; Statistics<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/geography\/\">School of Land Use and Environmental Change<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufv.ca\/physics\/\">Physics &amp; Engineering<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you to all of our Science Student groups who took part in our week long event. Clubs and associations are a great way to meet people, enhance your resume and make a more vibrant campus! They have also proven to be a great support system for students especially during these crazy times we find ourselves in.
