On July 1st, the Paldi Khalsa Diwan Society hosted a grand opening of the Paldi Historical Museum (located in the Paldi gurdwara) as part of the community’s annual Jor Mela. The museum space is in the Paldi gurdwara at 23 Paldi Road.<\/p>\n

The South Asian Canadian Digital Archive<\/a> hosts multiple collections on Paldi: the Joan Mayo fonds<\/a>, the Paldi Gurdwara Collection<\/a>, and the Paldi Collection<\/a>. \u00a0These rich collections of photos, documents, and videos offer a glimpse into what life in this unique, multicultural community was like.<\/p>\n

The museum is now open to the public, so drop in for a visit if you’re in the area!<\/p>\n
