The SASI is pleased to announce that it has successfully signed a contract with the Crime Reduction Research Program for a\u00a0grant titled \u201cResponses to Gang-related Violence and Issues Amongst South Asian Youth.\u201d<\/p>\n
Beginning in 2017, the British Columbia Crime Reduction Research Program (CRRP) is a joint-research model which includes representation from the\u00a0 Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General<\/a>,\u00a0Royal Canadian Mounted Police in B.C.<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C. (CFSEU-BC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n The work is part of work of the SASI South Asian Fellowship Research Endowment Program.<\/p>\n Three new appointed Fellows will start the work under this project starting in April 2020.
