The South Asian Studies Institute in partnership with the Sikh Heritage Museum, National Historic Site Gur Sikh Temple<\/a> were pleased to host the first BC Museums Association Regional Workshop of 2018 in Abbotsford on March 19th. Luc Desmarais guided the museum professionals in attendance on how small museums\u00a0can lay the groundwork for collection clean-up and deaccessioning projects.<\/p>\n

This workshop ran from 10am-3pm and included a generous langar (vegetarian communal meal) prepared by the volunteers at the Khalsa Diwan Society, Abbotsford gurdwara.<\/p>\n
