We are pleased to announce that the application for the 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship<\/em>\u00a0offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is now open. This scholarship is intended for students who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree at a Japanese university.<\/p>\n

The scholarship covers:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Full tuition<\/li>\n
  2. Monthly allowance<\/li>\n
  3. Round-trip flight between Japan and Canada<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Undergraduate Scholarship is aimed at high school graduates, born on or after April 2, 2000 (for the 2025 scholarship year). The term of the scholarship is 5 years, beginning in April 2025 (including one year of Japanese language training).<\/p>\n

    \ud83d\udcc3 Application guides and forms are available through the links on the Consulate-General of Japan in Vancouver website.<\/a><\/p>\n

    \ud83c\udfaf Deadline for the 2025 scholarship year: May 31, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Applicants who successfully pass the written application screening are required to undertake an interview and examinations (as outlined in the application guidelines). Candidate interviews and examinations will be held in June or July\u00a0<\/strong>on a date determined by the Consulate General of Japan. Interviews and examinations must be conducted in-person at the Consulate General of Japan\u2019s offices<\/a>\u00a0in downtown Vancouver.<\/p>\n
