The UFV Board of Governors met earlier this month to review the proposed collective agreement between UFV and the FSA. The Board has unanimously voted in favour of this agreement.
The Board sincerely thanks the UFV and FSA bargaining teams for their work to reach this tentative agreement. Long hours and dedication have resulted in an agreement that will move the university forward, and help serve our students and our communities collegially through to 2019.
It is anticipated the FSA membership will vote on this tentative agreement in the Fall. If ratified by the FSA, the agreement will then go to the Post Secondary Employers’ Association for final approval.
