During the transition, Outlook meetings scheduled for November 1 or later may appear at different times depending on the device or application being used. For example, a meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on one device may appear as 11:00 a.m. on another. <\/p>\n<p>This may affect Outlook for Windows, Mac, web, and mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is impacted?<\/strong><br \/>\nAll UFV employees and students who use Outlook calendars and schedule meetings that occur on or after November 1, 2026. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What do I need to do?<\/strong><br \/>\nTo help avoid scheduling confusion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verify meeting times when scheduling or reviewing meetings on or after November 1.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid making non-essential changes to recurring meetings that extend beyond November 1 until vendor updates are available.<\/li>\n<li>Include the intended BC meeting time in the subject line for important meetings.<\/li>\n<li>If using macOS or iOS, use Outlook on the web to create or modify meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Do not manually change your device time zone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What happens next?<\/strong><br \/>\nMicrosoft and Apple are releasing updates to support BC&#8217;s new time-zone rules. IT Services is monitoring these updates and assessing their impact on Outlook, Exchange Online, Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
