The survey takes approximately 2 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n<p>Survey: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/r\/H8S7rW6rEG\">https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/r\/H8S7rW6rEG<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a Softphone?<\/strong><br \/>\nA softphone is a university phone extension that operates through software on your computer rather than a physical desk phone. Examples include the MiCollab application and other software that enables you to make and receive calls using your computer and headset.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Are We Conducting This Survey?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe survey results will help IT Services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand how physical phones and softphones are being used<\/li>\n<li>Ensure telephony services align with business requirements<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to simplify and modernize communication services<\/li>\n<li>Support future planning, including the transition from Mitel telephony services to Microsoft Teams Phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What Is Not Included?<\/strong><br \/>\nThis survey does not apply to UFV-issued mobile phones or mobile phone service plans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Happens Next?<\/strong><br \/>\nFollowing the review, IT Services will analyze survey results and develop recommendations.
