These steps help reduce energy use and extend the life of classroom equipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When class ends, faculty should please do the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.<strong>Turn off the AV system<\/strong><br \/>\n     \u2022\tPress the Power Off button on the podium touch panel<br \/>\n     \u2022\tWait until the Power Off button turns solid white or the touch screen confirms the system is shutting down <\/p>\n<p>2.<strong>Log out of the classroom computer<\/strong><br \/>\n     \u2022\tSelect Sign out \/ Log out<br \/>\n     \u2022\tPlease do not power off the computer<\/p>\n<p>3.<strong>Turn off the room lights<\/strong><br \/>\n     \u2022\tUse the wall light switch near the exit<\/p>\n<p>If a faculty member is unsure how to complete any of these steps, IT Services is happy to help.
