\nCapture the Flag (or CTF for short) is a collection of puzzles where participants compete to find the hidden piece of text (called the \u201cflag\u201d). It\u2019s like a scavenger hunt, but all the hunting is done on your computer. Each correct solve will award you some points on the leaderboard.<\/p>\nAre there prizes?<\/strong>
\nThere are no prizes this time, but we hope you enjoy the challenges anyways!<\/p>\nWho can play?<\/strong>

\nHere are some tips if you get stuck:
\n\u2022 Take notes: It\u2019s easy to lose track once you start gaining momentum. Take notes to remember what you\u2019ve tried, what you\u2019ve found so far, and ideas. Notes can save you a lot of time if you need to backtrack.
\n\u2022 Build your toolkit: You may already have tools you know and love, and there\u2019s lots to be discovered. Check out what you\u2019ve already got installed, search for a tool to do that thing you\u2019re stuck on, or see what field guides and resource lists exist out there.
\n\u2022 Google that question: Search engines are great tools no matter how small the question. For example, if you don\u2019t know how to identify an unknown file that\u2019s missing it\u2019s filetype extension, just Google it!
\n\u2022 Take a break: If you\u2019re really stuck, take a break for a while to clear your head, and come back later.<\/p>\nI have other questions\u2026<\/strong>
