What do I need to know?<\/strong>
\nDue to Blackboard storage limits, the process of<\/strong> archiving courses associated with 2020 term dates will begin on April 15, 2023.<\/strong>\u00a0The following terms will be moved into archive from your Blackboard Faculty course lists on the dates listed.<\/p>\n

April 15, 2023: <\/strong>202000, 202001<\/p>\n

June 30, 2023: <\/strong>202004, <\/strong>202005<\/p>\n

September 29, 2023: <\/strong>202007, <\/strong>202008, <\/strong>202009<\/p>\n

Who is impacted?<\/strong>
\nFaculty with courses from 2020 in their Blackboard Faculty course list.<\/p>\n

What do I need to do?<\/strong>
\nIf faculty want to keep or restore a copy of a course from any of these terms, there are three options:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Submit a Development Shell Request<\/a> to create a new copy of the course content that will appear on your course list.<\/li>\n
  2. Save a copy of the course on your computer or UFV OneDrive. Faculty tutorials are available to help with exporting, archiving, and importing a course<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Submit a Course Restore\/Recovery Request<\/a> to restore a course from UFV archive at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
