UFV recognizes the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the flooding in the Fraser Valley and the continuing impact on our communities as a result of this natural disaster.
The IT Service Desk team has removed walk-in service as an entry point of support at the IT Service Desk in Abbotsford and CEP but will continue to provide support through all other regular channels including phone, email, remote desktop control , as well as through our ticketing system itservicedesk.ufv.ca and our website www.ufv.ca/its.
With classes cancelled for the remainder of the week, Service Desk hours will be reduced to 8-4:30pm (Monday – Saturday).
Desktop, classroom and meeting room support for staff and faculty who remain on campus at UFV, will still be available for technician dispatch by contacting the IT Service Desk through any of the remaining channels. In the event that in person support at the IT Service Desk is essential, please reach out first to see if remote support can be offered, and if not we can work on alternative support arrangements such as scheduled appointments.
