IT Services: Known Issue – UFV Rogers Mobile Voice Call

What do I need to know?

UFV Employees have reported service issues when attempting to complete a voice call on their UFV Rogers device.  Employees will receive a busy signal and/or message that their call can not be completed.

What do I need to do?

Employees are asked to change their cellular data option to resolve this issue:
On your iPhone, select Settings/Cellular/Cellular Data Options/Voice and Data and select 3G.

Why is this happening?

A power disruption to a Rogers cell tower has caused this issue, Rogers is currently working on a resolution.

If the problem persists, employees are asked to call Rogers directly at 1-877-274-3375, select option 2, enter your cell phone number then selection option 3 for technical support.
