This is limited to a small number of UFV personnel and contractors who use VPN intermittently for remote system maintenance, etc.

Details:

Please be aware that on Friday, November 15th at 2:30 pm, while investigating a report by a VPN user, IT Services detected a problem potentially affecting all VPN users.  VPN (Virtual Private Network), is a secure service used by select UFV personnel and contractors for accessing internal systems and performing maintenance.  VPN is currently down and there is no estimated time to resolution.  IT Services is working with our equipment vendor to resolve the issue.

What is NOT affected?

  • All major services are fully operational
