UFV Wireless and UFV Secure wireless services (Wi-Fi) will be permanently retired.
When will this occur?

Who is impacted?
Anyone who uses UFV Wireless or UFV Secure Wi-Fi to connect their phone laptop, or other wireless devices to the network.
What do I need to do?
Anyone currently using UFV Wireless or UFV Secure Wi-Fi network should now connect using the Eduroam Wi-Fi network. For further information on connecting to Eduroam, please visit https://www.ufv.ca/its/eduroam/
On Friday August 23, 2019 at 8:00 am ITS will be permanently retiring the UFV Wireless and UFV Secure Wi-Fi networks.
Both networks use security standards which are no longer supported. In order to ensure your data and the UFV network continue to be secure, these wireless networks will be retired. All users should now connect to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network. Eduroam is a collaborative network that provides current students, faculty, and staff with fast, secure, and reliable access to Wi-Fi on UFV campuses, as well as at participating institutions in 70 territories worldwide.
