As many of you might remember, last semester health sciences\u00a0adopted a section of the Rotary trail from Vedder Road to Peach Road from the City of Chilliwack.<\/h3>\n

You can see our faculty name displayed on the signs that are posted on that section of the trail.<\/p>\n

We have taken a short break from our clean-up duties over the summer \u2013 but we are starting again in September and hoping to have as many faculty, staff and student participants as possible.<\/p>\n

Here are the dates of the clean-up walks this semester:<\/p>\n

September 12
\nSeptember 26
\nOctober 17
\nNovember 14
\nNovember 28<\/p>\n

*Please note that the meeting time is 11:45 am for all walks, meeting location is parking lot by the Dog Park located behind the CEP A Campus.<\/p>\n

There are two ways that you can sign up to get involved:<\/p>\n

  1. A sign-up sheet is available outside Maggie Shamro’s office (CEP A2436)<\/li>\n
  2. Click here<\/a> to fill out the sign up form online<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The full clean-up walk to Peach Road and back takes approximately one hour. However, you are welcome to walk for any distance or amount of time that you are available for.<\/p>\n

    This is a great way to get outside, spend some time in nature, and give back to our community. All supplies are provided and we will walk rain or shine.<\/p>\n
