Despite\u00a0our<br \/>\nconfidence in the importance of those\u00a0strategies and the ability of police to execute them, we\u00a0are aware that the police alone cannot make crime go\u00a0away. Crime prevention is a societal matter that relies\u00a0on a commitment from the entire criminal justice\u00a0system plus the community at large to be successful.\u00a0Furthermore, policing is expensive.
