This piece was partially inspired in anticipation of the UFV Faculty & Staff Association<\/a>‘s event on Monday, October 6.\u00a0 The presentation from Sara Kishawi titled “Promoting Community Change on Campus in the Face of Institutional Resistance,” drew from her experiences as a Palestinian community organizer and sociology graduate from Vancouver Island University.
