Made more difficult by my own ignorance of it. For so long I felt broken, wrong, not enough. My diagnosis was a relief. A vindication. But the more I live with it, the less it feels like a sentencing. There are still bad days, low days, struggles. But I wouldn&#8217;t be the me I am if I had been born normal. I find joy in my hyper-fixations, inspiration in my eccentricities, connection in shared experiences.
